Chris Finn brings over 28 years of teaching experience to the studio.    During this time he has taught Master Tap classes for a variety of major studios and workshops such as the Dance Masters of America and Pacific Coast Dance Fest.  He is the first born of the Finns and has many times over proven his abilities as a knowledgeable teacher having cleverly choreographed many intricate and ingenious routines routines in both jazz and tap for our studio.

Taking pride in his work has produced him many award winning pupils.  He works very closely with his parents in many aspects of the studio responsibilities that must be attended to on a daily basis.

Chris also owns and operates "SoundTrix", a sound editing company.  With SoundTrix, Chris has the ability to create original music pieces, specialized edits and mixes for the entire studio as well as for dance organizations all over the country.  Because music is such an intricate part of our dance revues, Chris takes on the painstaking task of producing all the master sound tracks we use in our shows as well as for the dance competitions in which our students participate.   

               

Connie Finn possesses many wonderful qualities which we have seen rub off onto the students.  Connie has created many championship and award winning dancers and has often been complimented for her creativity in choreographing various numbers for the students.

Currently she holds a B.A. Degree in Psychology as well as her academic teaching credential.  She also teaches Special Education at Jurupa Valley High School of which she holds a Master's degree in that field.  Her thesis to achieve her Master's degree was entitled "Dance Curriculum For Students With Learning Handicaps".

She is married to her co-worker, Chris Finn.  With her busy schedule this past year Connie still was on call for our studio schedule and acted as a substitute teacher whenever needed.
 
She is the very proud mother of her two sons, Rory and Ryan whom she focuses on constantly with loving joy and undivided attention.



Cory Finn is highly sought after as a professional dancer/teacher/choreographer having produced countless award winning choreography for major dance studios including our own not only across this nation but abroad as well.

 Cory’s unparalleled creativity along with his versatile ability puts him in the fore front with great demands from studios everywhere.. His honest concern and excitement for his students is obvious and also the reason he is able to draw out the best in them.  His efforts over the years has brought our studios many top coveted awards too numerous to mention here.  He has been in numerous commercials and industrials for companies such as Dr. Pepper, Toyota, Taco Bell and Disney, to name a few. Some of his television credits include Mad About You, Drew Carey, and Star Search. He is a faculty member of the NUVO Dance Convention circuit, whereby he literally teaches thousands upon thousands of dance teachers and students across these Americas. This coming summer, we are honored in having both  he and his associate, Katie Weibring, as our guest teachers for our Summer Dance Camp workshop.  Good luck Cory in your future endeavors with all that you pursue in this wonderful world of dance.

              

Kim Hansen started out as a young beginner student with the Finns studying tap, ballet and jazz.  She became an excellent student and then a wonderful teacher for them.  Kim has now been teaching dance for the Finns for almost 26 years.

She holds a B.A. degree in Dance of which was earned at UCR.  Kim is very dedicated to the profession of teaching dance as well as understanding the students' needs.  She has achieved many award winning students to her credit.  Kim is strong in her ballet technique and passes those qualities onto the students.

Through her dancing she was given the opportunity to perform in Scotland at the Edinburgh Festival of the Arts.  Kim has now dedicated herself to giving back to her own students.  Through her kindness, generosity, and warm heart, many of her students possess her same passion for dancing.
Kim is definitely an asset to the studio and is highly respected by everyone at the studio.  Two of her daughters, Devan and Sydney, are now becoming veryactive in the studio.  Hoping to follow in their footsteps are Kim's one year old twins Morgan and Miley.



Stephanie Ferguson began dancing with us 33 years ago and assisted for many classes in her early teens.  She has used that knowledge to become a well rounded teacher of tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical.

 Stephanie is now in her 22nd year as a teacher for us.  Her creativity is ever so essential in the development of our dancers.  Stephanie is a very effective teacher who is stern, but maintains an excellent balance with her loving and dedicated method of instruction

She has earned many awards as a choreographer and teacher at the studio as well as with outside dance teams and cheer squads.  This year she choreographed the Freddie Finn Jazz Production along with her regular dance class schedule.

She also enjoys caring for her two nephews, Austin and Jayton. 

 


Debra Kaye was a student at our studio in the late 60’s for several years. Since then, she operated her own successful studio for over 30 years.

She has taught Master Classes at UCI, Debbie Reynolds Studios, DIA, and DMA. She assisted Gus Giordano, Paul DeRolf, Jim Taylor amongst others in Master classes and seminars.

Debra has also choreographed several popular musicals. She belongs to several major dance associations including the Cecchetti Council of America. Upon the closure of her studio, we were happy to have her and her students continue with us. 

 With a strong background in ballet, she is able to give our students the discipline and drive to further their technique with the benefits of ballet training.  She is stern yet caring and helps every student grow within their dancing ability.  This is now Debra’s 11th season with us as a teacher.

 



Roman Finn literally grew up in the studio watching his parents teach various styles of dance.  As a youngster he had taken tap, jazz and break dancing before his brother Cory formed the tap group called "5 Guys Tappin’" of which had gone on to win top awards everywhere they competed including the nationally syndicated television show "Star Search".

His dancing background had helped him formulate his unique style of Hip Hop choreography, all of which the students love. In addition to his Hip Hop classes, he also teaches tap. Among the many tasks he performs for the studio, he also is the studio’s Stage Manager for our dancing revues.

Roman makes many of our stage props and stage settings we use for our productions.  He also puts together all our video slide shows as well as producing all the DVD recordings of our revues.  He is also our handy man for any and all of the studio maintenance problems we may encounter.  A good guy to have around.

 

              


Rebekah Mitchell has trained with the Houston Ballet and also Pennsylvania Ballet and each summer takes master classes in New York City  

She is a past member of our Top Notch group which had won many top awards.  As a soloist, she has also won top awards including "Most Entertaining Solo", and was Dancer of the Year for the past few years.  She's been awarded scholarships to LA Dance Magic and The Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet.

In addition to teaching at our studio,  Rebekah's is an official  world famous "Radio City Rockette",  known for their "eye high kicks" and their dance precision.  Rebekah is performs regularly with the Rockettes in their annual Christmas seasons at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

You can catch her performing with the Rockettes  at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades which televises on national TV.  Watch for her.  Rebekah returns to our FFDS teaching staff right after the holidays.

 



Candice Toscano has been dancing with our studio since she was 3 years old. She became a member of the Freddie Finn Faculty a few years ago and her students love her very much.

She is dependable, competent, and always willing to help out where there is need. Candice loved being very involved in all the top lines and productions and had won numerous awards over the years.

Drawing from her own experience, Candice has helped build a strong foundation for many of our young dancers.

She recently attended California State San Bernardino where she majored in nursing receiving her well earned degree.  Candice has a very caring and cheerful disposition and well liked by all whom come in contact with her.

 

 

 

              

Rikki Hubbard became part of the Freddie Finn family  years ago.  She was an active member in all the top lines and productions and is now a regular faculty member.

Rikki is wonderful with children.  She makes dancing not only challenging but fun for her students and they all love her.  Rikki's colorful sense of humor is enjoyed by all around her and her "spunky" attitude definitely sets her apart from everyone else with her joyful personality.

Rikki attended Cal Baptist University majoring in Liberal Studies with the goal of earning her masters in administration hoping some day in becoming an elementary school principal.

She is extremely goal oriented and is on a daily mission to accomplish whatever she sets out to do in life.

 



Valerie Mullaney is 19 years old and has been dancing since she was 3. She is a Fontana High School graduate where she was captain of the cheerleading squad for two years.

She plans on continuing her education at RCC with the goal of becoming a kindergarten teacher.  Valerie enjoys teaching dance and looks forward to seeing her classes perform in the annual revues.

 Valerie continues to perform and compete on the Freddie Finn Classic Rhythms Tap team with whom continue to win numerous awards.

 

Jordyn Ferraro has been dancing at FFDS for 11 years and has been on the teaching staff fpr two years.  She has been an outstanding addition to our faculty through her helpfulness and willingness to fill in whenever needed.

She is a great motivator for her students as well as her peers.

Jordyn is a proud graduate of Poly High School Class of 2009 where she maintained a 4.0 GPA.  In the Fall she will attend Azusa Pacific University.  This summer she will once again travel to Chile with her church missions group.

 



Emily Fuller is the newest member of the Freddie Finn Dance Faculty staff.  She had started at FFDS at a very early age and has become a top dancer for our studio which has earned her numerous awards from a wide variety of dance competitions throughout the years.

 Emily recently graduated from Riverside Christian High School and plans on furthering her education and also continuing with her career in dance.
